Inflating the BOSU Balance Trainer isn't too tricky, but there's something to keep in mind before you start. Make sure everything you need is in the box, as sometimes parts can be missing. According to the manufacturer's product description, it should include a pump, so you won't have to search for special equipment.

However, our research indicates that, in some cases, the sealing plug—which keeps the air in once inflated—might not be there. Pretty annoying, right? Without it, you can't keep a good seal on the air.

If you don't have the plug, try reaching out to the vendor. They might be able to send you the missing parts or help in another way. If they can't, you might need to buy a replacement, but start with the manufacturer to ensure it's the right part.

To dodge this issue altogether, it's a good idea to make sure everything's in the box as soon as you get your BOSU. And when you buy, look for a new and unopened label. Based on our data, this seems to help avoid missing parts.

Once you verify you have everything, inflating the BOSU is straightforward. Hook up the pump to the air hole, inflate until it's firm, and pop the sealing plug in. Aim for it to be firm but not overly stretched for best results during workouts.

Overall, the BOSU Balance Trainer is great for balance and conditioning exercises. Just double-checking your package at the start will help prevent any hassle down the line.

Our research suggests that addressing any issues early on with the manufacturer can make setup smoother.
