If you're curious about the ankle support in the ZUMBA Air Funk Women's Dance Shoes, our research suggests they're pretty solid in that department. The mid-top design gives more support than low-top shoes, which is handy for those quick Zumba moves. Plus, the manufacturer mentions there's cushioning air technology that helps with ankle stability, so you can have smoother transitions while dancing.

Another thing that helps with support is the rubber treads, which offer a good grip. This can definitely make a difference in keeping your balance and avoiding any slips during lively sessions.

From what we found, many who have tried these shoes say they feel comfortable and secure around the ankles. However, it's worth noting that some mention the shoes run a bit large. So, you might want to go a half or even a full size down, especially if you've got narrower feet. The material's flexibility might make them feel a bit roomy too.

It's a good idea to try them on in a store if you can, just to get the right size and to see how the ankle support feels firsthand.

Besides the support, folks also rave about the style, comfort, and performance for dancing. If you get the sizing right, they could be a great fit for your dance collection.
