# Product Data API Cost Calculator

## Credit costs

- **Retrieving Product Details** (`GET /v1/products`): 1 credit per product found
- **Searching Products by Keyword** (`GET /v1/products/search`): 1 credit per product returned
- **Current Offers (All Retailers)** (`GET /v1/products/offers`): 3 credits per product
- **Current Offers (Single Retailer)** (`GET /v1/products/offers?retailer=`): 2 credits per product
- **Price History** (`GET /v1/products/offers/history`): Offer cost per product + 1 credit per day of the window (the per-day component is charged once per request, not per product) — charged only when offers are found
- **Schedule Product Monitoring** (`PUT /v1/products/scheduled`): 1 credit per product (refreshes are not charged)
- **Browse Deals** (`GET /v1/deals`): 1 credit per 10 deals returned
- **TLDR Product Review** (`GET /v1/products/reviews`): 1 credit per product (0 when no review exists)
- **Batch Product Lookup** (`POST /v1/products/batch`): 1 credit per product found (+ 3 per product that has offers when including offers, + 1 per product that has a review when including reviews)

## Formulas

- Checks = products per check x share found x checks per month x 1 (details), 3 (offers at all retailers) or 2 (offers at one retailer).
- History = pulls x (products with offers x 3 + days x requests per pull), with 100 identifiers per request; the day charge applies once per request and only when offers are found. Windows are up to 366 days.
- Scheduling = 1 credit per product scheduled; scheduled refreshes are not charged.
- Requests count against 1,000 requests per rolling hour per account.
- Worked examples from the documentation: 1 product over 90 days of history = 1 x 3 + 90 = 93 credits; 10 products in one request = 10 x 3 + 90 = 120 credits.
