## Verdict

The Vortex Optics Venom First Focal Plane Riflescope is a mixed bag. While it provides decent clarity for target shooting and offers good warranty service, several users have noted its average magnification and issues with holding zero. The reticle is viewed as too complex, and there are concerns over its glass quality compared to cheaper alternatives. For those prioritizing clarity and quality, investing a bit more might lead to better satisfaction. Consider exploring brands like A.r.k.e.n that have been highlighted by users for delivering superior options in this price range.

**Top pro:** Meets the needs for precision shooting on a rimfire rifle.
**Top con:** The reticle is considered too busy, making it difficult to see the target clearly.
