## Verdict

Thomas' Plain Bagels offer a superior taste and texture compared to store brands, making them a satisfying comfort choice. However, some users noted that the recipe has changed, resulting in a basic, dry taste that isn't as flavorful as expected. If you love a chewy bagel that easily pairs with a range of toppings, these bagels provide convenience and versatility, especially for those who enjoy freezing extra stock for later use. If the recent changes to flavor and texture don't meet your bagel bliss criteria, exploring other brands might offer more depth and satisfaction.

**Top pro:** Significant taste and texture enhancement compared to store brands.
**Top con:** Basic, lacking flavor depth with a floury taste.
