# TLDR Review: SHOKZ OpenFit 2 Wireless Earhook Headphones with Mic, 48 Hr Playtime, Fast Charge, Water-Resistant, Black *Published: 2026-05-28 | Updated: 2026-05-28 | Source: https://shopsavvy.com/reviews-tldr/shokz-openfit-2-wireless-earhook-headphones-with-mic-48-hr-playtime-fast-charge-water-resistant-black* --- ## Verdict If you’re after a pair of lightweight, comfortable, and highly versatile headphones that keep you aware of your surroundings while delivering great sound, the **SHOKZ OpenFit 2** is a strong contender. They excel for outdoor activities, multitasking, or casual listening without the discomfort of total isolation. However, if you prefer full noise isolation or a more compact case, you might want to consider a more traditional in-ear model. For a similar open-ear experience with potentially better portability and noise isolation, you might look into the Jabra OpenMove, which also offers good sound clarity and extra portability. **Top pro:** Exceptional fit that stays securely in place during active use, ideal for sports or outdoor activities **Top con:** The charging case is somewhat bulky and can be difficult to remove earbuds from, especially for larger hands ## Product: SHOKZ OpenFit 2 Wireless Earhook Headphones with Mic, 48 Hr Playtime, Fast Charge, Water-Resistant, Black **Brand:** SHOKZ [Compare prices and price history on ShopSavvy](https://shopsavvy.com/products/shokz-openfit-2-wireless-earhook-headphones-with-mic-48-hr-playtime-fast-charge-water-resistant-black) ## Pros - Exceptional fit that stays securely in place during active use, ideal for sports or outdoor activities - Rich, clear sound with impressive bass and high clarity, approaching high-fidelity quality - Open-ear design offers situational awareness, making it perfect for outdoor safety and multitasking - Lightweight and comfortable, almost unnoticeable during extended wear - Long battery life of 48 hours total, with quick 10-minute charging giving 2 hours of playback - Effective microphone with AI noise reduction, ensuring clear calls even in windy or noisy environments - Controls are easy to operate via physical buttons and customizable app settings, reducing accidental presses - Supports Bluetooth 5.4 with multipoint pairing, connecting seamlessly to multiple devices - Water-resistant IP55 rating makes them suitable for light rain or sweat - Enhanced sound technology (OpenBass 2.0 and DirectPitch 2.0) delivers a balanced and immersive audio experience ## Cons - The charging case is somewhat bulky and can be difficult to remove earbuds from, especially for larger hands - Physical control buttons may be hard to press or require holding longer, which can be inconvenient during workouts - Not heavily isolating, so ambient noise can interfere with listening in noisy environments unless volume is increased - Slightly larger case size compared to some competitors might be less portable for some users - As with many open-ear designs, bass in very noisy environments may diminish when background noise is high - Ear hooks, though flexible, may still cause discomfort for some users with sensitive ears over long periods - Some users mentioned that the earbuds do not block out environmental sounds completely, which may or may not be desirable - No active noise cancellation—design prioritizes awareness over isolation ## Pros vs Cons at a Glance | Pros | Cons | |------|------| | Exceptional fit that stays securely in place during active use, ideal for sports or outdoor activities | The charging case is somewhat bulky and can be difficult to remove earbuds from, especially for larger hands | | Rich, clear sound with impressive bass and high clarity, approaching high-fidelity quality | Physical control buttons may be hard to press or require holding longer, which can be inconvenient during workouts | | Open-ear design offers situational awareness, making it perfect for outdoor safety and multitasking | Not heavily isolating, so ambient noise can interfere with listening in noisy environments unless volume is increased | | Lightweight and comfortable, almost unnoticeable during extended wear | Slightly larger case size compared to some competitors might be less portable for some users | | Long battery life of 48 hours total, with quick 10-minute charging giving 2 hours of playback | As with many open-ear designs, bass in very noisy environments may diminish when background noise is high | | Effective microphone with AI noise reduction, ensuring clear calls even in windy or noisy environments | Ear hooks, though flexible, may still cause discomfort for some users with sensitive ears over long periods | | Controls are easy to operate via physical buttons and customizable app settings, reducing accidental presses | Some users mentioned that the earbuds do not block out environmental sounds completely, which may or may not be desirable | | Supports Bluetooth 5.4 with multipoint pairing, connecting seamlessly to multiple devices | No active noise cancellation—design prioritizes awareness over isolation | | Water-resistant IP55 rating makes them suitable for light rain or sweat | | | Enhanced sound technology (OpenBass 2.0 and DirectPitch 2.0) delivers a balanced and immersive audio experience | | ## Last Seen Prices *Each price is the last one ShopSavvy observed, on 2026-05-28;
