## Verdict

The Shark AZ2002 Vertex DuoClean stands out with its powerful suction and comprehensive surface cleaning capability, making it a solid choice for households with pets or allergies. However, it is on the heavier side and has a few design concerns, like a cumbersome wand attachment and a non-retractable cord, which could deter those looking for a lightweight and easy-to-store vacuum. Overall, if you can handle its weight, this vacuum is a worthy investment for its no-nonsense cleaning performance.

**Top pro:** Great suction power on various surfaces, including hardwood floors and carpets.
**Top con:** The vacuum is heavy, which might make it challenging to carry upstairs or transport.
