# TLDR Review: Samsung NE63A6511SG Electric Range *Published: 2025-01-29 | Updated: 2024-12-28 | Source: https://shopsavvy.com/reviews-tldr/samsung-ne63a6511sg-electric-range* --- ## Verdict The Samsung NE63A6511SG Smart Freestanding Electric Range offers a stylish design and modern features such as Wi-Fi connectivity and air frying, which complement its large capacity and efficient cooking options. However, it's noted to have some quality control issues and durability problems, particularly with the glass cooktop and temperature control. If these concerns are deal-breakers, it might be worth exploring other options. Consider this range if style and smart features are priority and be sure to inspect and test thoroughly upon installation. **Top pro:** Features a sleek, modern design that integrates well with modern kitchen decor. **Top con:** Ongoing disputes with the manufacturer and retailer regarding faulty units and lack of compensation. ## Product: Samsung NE63A6511SG Electric Range **Brand:** SAMSUNG [Compare prices and price history on ShopSavvy](https://shopsavvy.com/products/samsung-ne63a6511sg-electric-range) ## Pros - Features a sleek, modern design that integrates well with modern kitchen decor. - Air fry option heats food quickly, comparable to a small tabletop air fryer, which is appreciated for homemade wings. - Large 6.3 cu. ft. oven capacity accommodates big dishes and allows for cooking multiple dishes simultaneously. - Wi-Fi connectivity provides phone and watch alerts, and allows remote operation via smartphone app or Alexa. - Rapid Boil burner brings water to a boil quickly, saving time in cooking. - Selectable element sizes for the cooktop improve energy efficiency with different pot and pan sizes. - Easy setup of Wi-Fi connection after installation, enhancing user experience. - Smooth, easy-to-clean cooktop and oven interior/exterior. - Raised rear panel controls prevent unintentional burner activation, improving safety. - Considered a great value for the price, offering a high level of performance and functionality. ## Cons - Ongoing disputes with the manufacturer and retailer regarding faulty units and lack of compensation. - Glass cooktop quality is inferior, leading to discoloration and scratches not resolved by recommended cleaning methods. - Flimsy quality of the bottom drawer, and lack of consistent temperature control. - Noisy operation with a humming sound from the oven, and the self-cleaning feature is ineffective. - Initial installation issues possibly led to early performance problems and burning smells. - Previous models (like LG) were noted to not have similar durability problems over long-term use. ## Pros vs Cons at a Glance | Pros | Cons | |------|------| | Features a sleek, modern design that integrates well with modern kitchen decor. | Ongoing disputes with the manufacturer and retailer regarding faulty units and lack of compensation. | | Air fry option heats food quickly, comparable to a small tabletop air fryer, which is appreciated for homemade wings. | Glass cooktop quality is inferior, leading to discoloration and scratches not resolved by recommended cleaning methods. | | Large 6.3 cu. ft. oven capacity accommodates big dishes and allows for cooking multiple dishes simultaneously. | Flimsy quality of the bottom drawer, and lack of consistent temperature control. | | Wi-Fi connectivity provides phone and watch alerts, and allows remote operation via smartphone app or Alexa. | Noisy operation with a humming sound from the oven, and the self-cleaning feature is ineffective. | | Rapid Boil burner brings water to a boil quickly, saving time in cooking. | Initial installation issues possibly led to early performance problems and burning smells. | | Selectable element sizes for the cooktop improve energy efficiency with different pot and pan sizes. | Previous models (like LG) were noted to not have similar durability problems over long-term use. | | Easy setup of Wi-Fi connection after installation, enhancing user experience. | | | Smooth, easy-to-clean cooktop and oven interior/exterior. | | | Raised rear panel controls prevent unintentional burner activation, improving safety. | | | Considered a great value for the price, offering a high level of performance and functionality. | | ## Last Seen Prices *Each price is the last one ShopSavvy observed, between 2025-05-12 and 2026-10-05;
