## Verdict

The Rubbermaid TakeAlongs 40 Piece Food Storage Set is a solid, budget-friendly choice if you want a versatile, leak-proof, and durable container set for everyday food storage. While the thinner plastic and smaller bowls won't satisfy everyone—especially if you need larger or heavy-duty containers—this set shines for lunches, sauces, and general leftovers. If you want something a little sturdier or with more color options, consider exploring other Rubbermaid lines or premium brands, but for sheer value and dependable leak protection, this set delivers well.

**Top pro:** Offers excellent value with 40 pieces including 20 bowls and lids, providing a large variety for different food storage needs
**Top con:** Bowls are smaller than some expect, which can limit usability for larger portion storage
