## Pros
- Effective at picking up pet hair from multiple animals and shedding pets, especially on various floor types
- Capable of lifting from raised carpets and navigating through entryways and dividers, adding to its versatility
- Quiet operation allows for use without disturbing your peace
- Multiple cleaning modes, including vacuum only, mop only, and combined, offering flexibility (though vacuum-only mode isn't an option yet)
- Strong turbo suction mode provides powerful cleaning performance
- Excellent at cleaning crumbs and dirt in hard-to-reach areas under furniture
- Easy setup, quick mapping, and effective navigation around furniture and obstacles
- Performs well with multiple pets, including huskies and cats
- Overall satisfaction with performance and ease of use, especially considering price point
- Good quality with a strong recommendation from users

## Cons
- Large size requires significant space and modifications like placing the dock away from heat sources or using a board for stability
- Difficult to place flush against a wall due to its size and space needs
- Struggles with pet hair, frequently getting jammed and moving hair around instead of removing it—sometimes depositing pet hair onto carpet edges
- Mopping function is superficial, leaving only narrow traces and not suitable for large areas
- Noise level is relatively high, which might be disruptive during operation
- Could benefit from an option to run vacuum-only without activating the mopping function, as current setup requires manual adjustments
- Sometimes needs modifications to work optimally, such as adjusting placement of the dock

## Bottom Line

The Roborock Q10 S5+ offers impressive pet hair handling, strong suction, and smart navigation, making it a solid choice for busy households with pets. However, its large size and limited vacuum-only mode might be a drawback if space or simplicity is a priority. If pet hair jam issues or superficial mopping are deal-breakers, you might want to consider alternatives like the Roborock Q10+ or similar models that excel in pet hair management and have dedicated vacuum-only modes.
