## Verdict

The Ring Chime is a solid choice if you're already invested in the Ring ecosystem and want to extend its functionalities with an in-home alert system. It's easy to install and features a bright LED, but be aware that it may not be as loud as desired and can disconnect sporadically. Consider it if you're fine with limited chime options and an overall straightforward setup process.

**Top pro:** Easy to install, making setup a breeze for most users.
**Top con:** Not very loud, which might be an issue if you need to hear it from a distance.
