## Verdict

The Polaris Vac-Sweep 280 Pressure Side Pool Cleaner is a robust option for maintaining a clean pool with reduced costs over time. While it generally performs well and captures fine debris, a few users have faced challenges like tail-end floating and initial part issues. However, these are often manageable with minor adjustments and affordable replacements. Despite its higher price point, many report satisfaction with its long-term efficacy and ease of use.

**Top pro:** Extremely effective at cleaning, even capturing fine particles that other cleaners may miss.
**Top con:** Some users experience the tail end floating, requiring adjustments like adding a foam wiper.
