# TLDR Review: Palmolive Pure + Clear Dish Soap *Published: 2025-02-07 | Updated: 2025-01-04 | Source: https://shopsavvy.com/reviews-tldr/palmolive-pure-+-clear-dish-soap* --- ## Verdict Palmolive Ultra Pure + Clear Liquid Dish Soap is beloved for its effective cleaning power and eco-friendly ingredients. It's gentle on the hands and long-lasting, making it a great addition to households. However, the scent might not sit right with everyone, especially those with sensitivities. If fragrance is a concern, it may be wise to explore alternative brands that prioritize truly scent-free formulas. **Top pro:** Made with fewer chemicals and no unnecessary dyes, making it safer for home use. **Top con:** Strong and overpowering scent, contrary to a 'pure and clear' expectation. ## Product: Palmolive Pure + Clear Dish Soap **Brand:** Palmolive [Compare prices and price history on ShopSavvy](https://shopsavvy.com/products/palmolive-pure-+-clear-dish-soap) ## Pros - Made with fewer chemicals and no unnecessary dyes, making it safer for home use. - Effectively cleans dishes while maintaining strong cleaning power and efficiently cutting through grease. - Provides a sense of nostalgia due to its connection to family memories. - Single bottle offers long-lasting use for a family. - Fragrance-free formula ensures no lingering odors on dishes. - Gentle on hands, ideal for frequent dishwashers. - Good lathering quality allows for economical use since a little goes a long way. - Removes food residues efficiently, leaving dishes clean and shiny. - Highly recommendable and worthy of repeated purchases. ## Cons - Strong and overpowering scent, contrary to a 'pure and clear' expectation. - Not suitable for those with scent sensitivities or allergies. - Formula does not rinse off cleanly, leaving a soapy residue. - Causes dryness and irritation to hands after use. - The scent lingers, not dissipating easily. ## Pros vs Cons at a Glance | Pros | Cons | |------|------| | Made with fewer chemicals and no unnecessary dyes, making it safer for home use. | Strong and overpowering scent, contrary to a 'pure and clear' expectation. | | Effectively cleans dishes while maintaining strong cleaning power and efficiently cutting through grease. | Not suitable for those with scent sensitivities or allergies. | | Provides a sense of nostalgia due to its connection to family memories. | Formula does not rinse off cleanly, leaving a soapy residue. | | Single bottle offers long-lasting use for a family. | Causes dryness and irritation to hands after use. | | Fragrance-free formula ensures no lingering odors on dishes. | The scent lingers, not dissipating easily. | | Gentle on hands, ideal for frequent dishwashers. | | | Good lathering quality allows for economical use since a little goes a long way. | | | Removes food residues efficiently, leaving dishes clean and shiny. | | | Highly recommendable and worthy of repeated purchases. | | ## Last Seen Prices *Each price is the last one ShopSavvy observed, between 2024-09-28 and 2025-02-12;
