However, it replaces natural tartness with sucralose, which may not satisfy those looking for natural flavors or avoiding artificial sweeteners. For a variety of culinary uses and if you don't mind the sweeteners, it's a good choice, but be aware of misleading packaging claims. **Top pro:** Economical large bag size provides value for regular use and longevity. **Top con:** Contains sucralose, an artificial sweetener not preferred by those avoiding them. ## Product: Ocean Spray Craisins Reduced Sugar **Brand:** Ocean Spray [Compare prices and price history on ShopSavvy](https://shopsavvy.com/products/ocean-spray-craisins-reduced-sugar) ## Pros - Economical large bag size provides value for regular use and longevity. - Consistent freshness throughout the bag prevents waste. - Offers versatility as a snack and in recipes, ideal for salads and meal prep. - Suitable for diabetic diets and popular with all ages. - Balanced taste appeals to those wanting to reduce sugar without losing sweetness. - Enjoyable as a candy alternative with a good mix of sweet and tart flavors. ## Cons - Contains sucralose, an artificial sweetener not preferred by those avoiding them. - Disappointment over lack of natural tartness due to excessive sweetening. - Misleading labeling about artificial ingredients. - Concerns over health impacts of sugar substitutes, such as affecting heart rate. - Taste is described as artificial and not meeting expectations of 'no artificials' claim. ## Pros vs Cons at a Glance | Pros | Cons | |------|------| | Economical large bag size provides value for regular use and longevity. | Contains sucralose, an artificial sweetener not preferred by those avoiding them. | | Consistent freshness throughout the bag prevents waste. | Disappointment over lack of natural tartness due to excessive sweetening. | | Offers versatility as a snack and in recipes, ideal for salads and meal prep. | Misleading labeling about artificial ingredients. | | Suitable for diabetic diets and popular with all ages. | Concerns over health impacts of sugar substitutes, such as affecting heart rate. | | Balanced taste appeals to those wanting to reduce sugar without losing sweetness. | Taste is described as artificial and not meeting expectations of 'no artificials' claim. | | Enjoyable as a candy alternative with a good mix of sweet and tart flavors. | | ## Last Seen Prices *Each price is the last one ShopSavvy observed, between 2024-12-31 and 2026-10-13; it may have changed since.* | Retailer | Price | Availability | Last seen | |----------|-------|-------------|-----------| | [Amazon](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/u47ja6vV3m899n6sFFw4/offers/a6ff3d93-43f4-59fa-57eb-41d3adecbd63?source=shopsavvy&medium=article-review-tldr) | $6.62 | In Stock | 2026-10-13 | | [Target](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/u47ja6vV3m899n6sFFw4/offers/d6b49785-01b5-afa7-ab24-7faa447c59ec?source=shopsavvy&medium=article-review-tldr) | $6.89 | In Stock | 2025-01-20 (may have changed) | | [Instacart](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/u47ja6vV3m899n6sFFw4/offers/dNRjRc8DPU3YgnZZC2Rx?source=shopsavvy&medium=article-review-tldr) | $6.97 | In Stock | 2025-01-20 (may have changed) | | [Raley's Dev](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/u47ja6vV3m899n6sFFw4/offers/6367372d-1d29-6209-6085-1dd94e766d71?source=shopsavvy&medium=article-review-tldr) | $8.19 | In Stock | 2025-01-20 (may have changed) | | [Walmart](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/u47ja6vV3m899n6sFFw4/offers/bde2c943-3f03-f676-680f-c1e696872088?source=shopsavvy&medium=article-review-tldr) | $9.38 | In Stock | 2025-01-20 (may have changed) | | [Uber Eats](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/u47ja6vV3m899n6sFFw4/offers/30db9ffe-09b5-d2a7-d8fa-df2fe6566e18?source=shopsavvy&medium=article-review-tldr) | $9.55 | In Stock | 2025-01-20 (may have changed) | | [Grocery.com Store](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/u47ja6vV3m899n6sFFw4/offers/Y17xaQmpfWu6OgEc0L8h?source=shopsavvy&medium=article-review-tldr) | $22.74 | In Stock | 2024-12-31 (may have changed) | [See every retailer and the full price history on ShopSavvy](https://shopsavvy.com/products/ocean-spray-craisins-reduced-sugar) --- *About this review: it summarizes the professional reviews and customer ratings ShopSavvy collected for this product, alongside prices from ShopSavvy's price data (each price shows when it was last seen).* *Machine-readable access: append `.md` to any ShopSavvy URL, or send `Accept: text/markdown`, to get this page as Markdown.
