## Verdict

The Nutro Ultra Small Breed Adult Dry Dog Food is well-loved for its suitability for small breeds and its nutritional balance, making it a convenient choice for pet owners. However, recent formula changes and quality issues, including increased calorie counts and packaging concerns, present significant drawbacks. If these recent issues lead to health concerns, you might want to carefully monitor your dog's response or consider trying different brands to ensure their well-being.

**Top pro:** Perfectly sized for small and toy breeds, making it easy for them to chew.
**Top con:** Recent formula change has increased calorie count by almost 25%, causing weight gain in dogs.
