## Verdict

The NINESTARS DZT-50-28SL offers a classy, user-friendly, and hygienic touchless trash solution with great battery life and solid build quality—perfect for anyone who wants a no-fuss, sleek 13-gallon trash can with reliable sensor tech. Just be aware the sensor can be a bit too eager sometimes, and the non-stainless steel lid might not match everyone's style preferences. If you’re looking for a similarly sized trashcan but want a different design or features, we can help you find alternative options as well.

**Top pro:** The highly responsive and reliable touchless infrared motion sensor makes opening the lid hygienic and convenient.
**Top con:** The infrared sensor can be a bit too sensitive at times, occasionally triggering the lid to open when merely walking nearby.
