# TLDR Review: LEGO Super Mario Bowser’s Muscle Car Expansion Set *Published: 2024-10-21 | Updated: 2024-12-12 | Source: https://shopsavvy.com/reviews-tldr/lego-super-mario-bowser's-muscle-car-expansion-set* --- ## Verdict The LEGO Super Mario Bowser’s Muscle Car Expansion Set is an absolute treat for LEGO and Mario enthusiasts. It promises hours of engaging and creative play, enhanced by its inventive design. However, be prepared to oversee assembly if digital instructions are challenging for the kids, as this might limit their independent playtime. For those who prefer traditional sets, consider options with physical instruction booklets for a more autonomous building experience. **Top pro:** Highly engaging and fun, keeping kids occupied for hours. **Top con:** The car bombs part can be a bit finicky. ## Product: LEGO Super Mario Bowser’s Muscle Car Expansion Set **Brand:** LEGO [Compare prices and price history on ShopSavvy](https://shopsavvy.com/products/lego-super-mario-bowser's-muscle-car-expansion-set) ## Pros - Highly engaging and fun, keeping kids occupied for hours. - Easy to assemble and reassemble multiple times. - Interesting design with a face on the front. - Great expansion to Mario and Luigi set. - Includes a Bowser and a car, adding variety. - Fantastic build suitable for play or display. - Inventive and fun construction process. - Great value for price per piece. - Appeals to fans of LEGO and Bowser. - Received positively as a gift for holidays like Easter and Christmas. ## Cons - The car bombs part can be a bit finicky. - Assembly instructions only available online, no physical booklet. - Requires a cell phone, tablet, or computer to view instructions. - Children may need assistance if they don’t have their own device, creating a less autonomous building experience. ## Pros vs Cons at a Glance | Pros | Cons | |------|------| | Highly engaging and fun, keeping kids occupied for hours. | The car bombs part can be a bit finicky. | | Easy to assemble and reassemble multiple times. | Assembly instructions only available online, no physical booklet. | | Interesting design with a face on the front. | Requires a cell phone, tablet, or computer to view instructions. | | Great expansion to Mario and Luigi set. | Children may need assistance if they don’t have their own device, creating a less autonomous building experience. | | Includes a Bowser and a car, adding variety. | | | Fantastic build suitable for play or display. | | | Inventive and fun construction process. | | | Great value for price per piece. | | | Appeals to fans of LEGO and Bowser. | | | Received positively as a gift for holidays like Easter and Christmas. | | ## Last Seen Prices *Each price is the last one ShopSavvy observed, on 2024-12-12;
