## Pros
- Crispy texture with a perfect balance of sweetness and butteriness
- Slight hint of salt enhances the flavor profile
- Visually appealing and well-made
- Overall, very delicious and satisfying
- Well-loved and appreciated by recipients, including elderly neighbors

## Cons
- 20% of reviews mention cookies arriving broken, indicating packaging issues
- 10% mention cookies being cracked or not just broken, suggesting fragility
- Packaging quality seems inconsistent year to year
- Many cookies arrive crumbled, which detracts from presentation and gift appeal
- Disappointing delivery experience may impact repeat purchases for gifting

## Bottom Line

These French butter cookies are praised for their flavor and crunch, but their fragility and packaging issues can be problematic, especially for gifting. For a more durable option, consider products with sturdier packaging. They are a tempting treat for personal indulgence but may not be ideal for gifting this year.
