## Verdict

The KOHLER 6489-0 Whitehaven Farmhouse Sink offers a stunning visual appeal and functionality in its large, accommodating design. However, its susceptibility to scratching and discoloration, combined with high maintenance demands, may detract from its initial allure. Consider the investment of both time and money for upkeep, as well as any renovation implications due to its installation design.

**Top pro:** The 'sea salt' color of the sink boasts an amazing finish, looking even better in person than in photos.
**Top con:** The sink is prone to frequent scratches and marks, even from accessories meant to prevent them.
