# TLDR Review: JOBY GripTight PRO Mount *Published: 2025-01-06 | Updated: 2024-12-23 | Source: https://shopsavvy.com/reviews-tldr/joby-griptight-pro-mount* --- ## Verdict The JOBY GripTight PRO Mount offers robust versatility and a secure grip for various tablets, but its design could benefit from added flexibility and ease of adjustment. If you often switch between orientations, you might find the single screw adjustment limiting. Consider a spring-clamping mount with deeper arms for a potentially better fit with bulkier cases. Overall, it's a durable and stylish option, particularly for steady, multi-camera uses. **Top pro:** Provides excellent versatility with adjustable positioning for various tablet models. **Top con:** Design combines clamp and pivot functions on a single screw, leading to potential inefficiency. ## Product: JOBY GripTight PRO Mount **Brand:** Joby [Compare prices and price history on ShopSavvy](https://shopsavvy.com/products/joby-griptight-pro-mount) ## Pros - Provides excellent versatility with adjustable positioning for various tablet models. - Secure grips with protective pads prevent scratching. - Smooth and precise movement with an ability for full 360-degree rotation. - Constructed with robust and sturdy materials for enhanced durability, outperforming cheaper alternatives. - Aesthetically pleasing design and stylish appearance justify the higher price point. - Compatible with any standard camera mount or stand, allowing multiple mounting options. - Ideal for users with unsteady hands and useful for multiple camera stands. ## Cons - Design combines clamp and pivot functions on a single screw, leading to potential inefficiency. - Only tilts 90 degrees, limiting flexibility in mounting orientation. - Two adjustments depend on the same knob/screw, complicating orientation changes. - Not spring-loaded, making it challenging to secure devices with one hand. - Arms are not deep enough to securely hold tablets in typical cases. - Requires both hands to adjust, which may be cumbersome when multitasking. ## Pros vs Cons at a Glance | Pros | Cons | |------|------| | Provides excellent versatility with adjustable positioning for various tablet models. | Design combines clamp and pivot functions on a single screw, leading to potential inefficiency. | | Secure grips with protective pads prevent scratching. | Only tilts 90 degrees, limiting flexibility in mounting orientation. | | Smooth and precise movement with an ability for full 360-degree rotation. | Two adjustments depend on the same knob/screw, complicating orientation changes. | | Constructed with robust and sturdy materials for enhanced durability, outperforming cheaper alternatives. | Not spring-loaded, making it challenging to secure devices with one hand. | | Aesthetically pleasing design and stylish appearance justify the higher price point. | Arms are not deep enough to securely hold tablets in typical cases. | | Compatible with any standard camera mount or stand, allowing multiple mounting options. | Requires both hands to adjust, which may be cumbersome when multitasking. | | Ideal for users with unsteady hands and useful for multiple camera stands. | | ## Last Seen Prices *Each price is the last one ShopSavvy observed, on 2024-12-23;
