- Solid construction with a sturdy internal mechanism despite a plastic outer case, promising durability.
- Includes a shiny chrome top piece and a quick-release clamp, making installation easier and adding aesthetic appeal.
- Straightforward installation process with clear instructions and compatible with existing plumbing, saving time and effort.
- Significantly quieter and with reduced vibration dampening compared to older models, enhancing user comfort.
- Effective grinding performance and capable of handling various food waste, including vegetable peels and fish scraps.
- Rapidly settles into a quieter operation after initial startup, with noise reducing notably during use.

- Easy wiring process and good customer service support are appreciated.

## Cons
- The rubber flange is overly restrictive, causing water backup in the sink during operation.
- Struggles with certain food types, notably banana peels, which are processed slowly or not at all.
- Initial noise levels can be higher than expected, and some units have experienced lingering loudness or rattling.
- The plastic outer case may be less durable than metal, raising concerns over long-term wear.
- Needs minor plumbing modifications such as cutting pipes or replacing components for proper fit.
- Some users experienced loose parts or minor internal issues, like internal components coming loose.
- Slight dissatisfaction with appearance initially, although performance generally compensates.
- Despite being advertised as quiet, some found it noisier than their previous units.
- The rubber flange and certain plumbing components may require trimming or replacement over time for optimal function.
- Complaints about slow performance with specific waste such as banana peels.

## Bottom Line

We think that the InSinkErator PRO750 is a solid upgrade for homeowners who prioritize installation ease, noise reduction, and reliable performance—just watch out for some plumbing tweaks and the occasional noisier startup. Its long-term durability and quiet operation make it a good choice, especially for upstairs kitchens. However, if you're looking to process challenging waste like banana peels efficiently or want a more robust metal outer case, you might want to explore other options, potentially including a model with more abrasive waste handling capacity or a more durable build.
