## Verdict

The HP 62XL Black Ink Cartridge is a dependable choice for quality printing and urgent tasks. While it offers benefits such as cost savings in its XL form, many users find the price for its performance and necessity for exclusive HP ink a bit steep. If you rely heavily on printing, especially for work-related tasks, thorough research into more cost-effective options might be wise.

**Top pro:** Functions effectively and reliably meets printing needs.
**Top con:** Can be expensive compared to newer machines with larger ink capacities.
