## Verdict

The **Hoover New ONEPWR Evolve Pet Cordless Vacuum** offers solid pet hair pickup with convenient cordless use and a sizable dirt bin—ideal if you primarily clean hard floors and need quick, everyday maintenance. However, if you expect extended battery runtime at higher power or frequent deep carpet cleaning, its short battery life and brush issues may frustrate you. Its design also poses durability concerns with the hose and brush roll components. For those seeking a more reliable runtime or easier maneuverability under furniture, considering other stick vacuums with longer-lasting batteries and better engineering might be wise before making a purchase decision.

**Top pro:** Delivers strong suction that picks up pet hair effectively, especially on hard floors.
**Top con:** Battery life falls well short of the advertised 35 minutes at higher suction levels—about 10 to 15 minutes on full or medium power before needing a recharge.

- Adjustable suction settings and brush roll provide flexibility across different floor types, including carpets and hard floors.
- ONEPWR battery system promises up to 35 minutes of runtime on low settings, supporting more extended cleaning sessions.
- Antimicrobial QuickPass brush roll and pet filter help keep the vacuum odor-free and reduce repeated passes.

## Cons
- Battery life falls well short of the advertised 35 minutes at higher suction levels—about 10 to 15 minutes on full or medium power before needing a recharge.
- Suction noticeably weakens on lower power settings, impacting cleaning effectiveness, especially on carpets with embedded pet hair.
- The vacuum is heavier than some competitors, which may cause fatigue during prolonged use.
- The connecting tube and hose are prone to damage or bending with daily use, potentially breaking within a year.
- Brush roll can jam or shut off unexpectedly during operation, sometimes restarting without warning and causing user frustration.
- Controls can be overly sensitive, leading to accidental power or brush toggling during cleaning.
- Design limitations make the vacuum too large to fit under many furniture pieces, reducing usability in tight spaces.
- Brush head cover is non-removable and gets quickly dusty, obscuring visibility and complicating maintenance.
- Customer service has been reported as unhelpful or complicated to work with for repairs or issues.
