## Verdict

The J.A Henckels Classic 16-pc. Knife & Block Set is praised for its initial sharpness and value compared to more expensive brands like Cutco. While the set excels in sharpness and addresses maintenance with an included sharpener, some users have found the steak knives lacking in quality and experienced washability issues. Consider weighing the benefits against the potential drawbacks if customer service and durability are top priorities.

**Top pro:** The knives are extremely sharp upon purchase.
**Top con:** The steak knives are described as feeling thin, flimsy, and cheap.
