## Verdict

These string lights deliver impressive brightness and professional-quality ambient lighting effects with excellent app controls and weather resistance—but the included adhesive simply isn't designed for permanent outdoor installation. If you're committed to a permanent setup, budget an additional $125 for proper mounting hardware. That said, if you're willing to invest in the proper installation materials and don't mind occasional humidity-related maintenance, you're looking at a feature-rich lighting system that outperforms many expensive professional alternatives and keeps your outdoor space beautifully lit year-round.

**Top pro:** Exceptional brightness and vivid color output with hundreds of preprogrammed lighting options available through the app
**Top con:** Double-sided adhesive tape provided deteriorates quickly in outdoor conditions and isn't adequate for permanent long-term mounting
