## Verdict

Fromm Reduced Activity Senior Gold Premium Dog Food is an excellent choice for senior medium and small breeds, especially those with sensitive stomachs and weight management needs. It offers high-quality ingredients that promote healthy digestion, shiny coats, and overall wellness. Despite some initial soft stools and the typical lab behavior of feeling hungry, the food effectively supports weight management and a more active lifestyle for older dogs. Your furry friend will likely find it both delicious and beneficial.

**Top pro:** Excellent track record with older dogs, such as a 13-year-old English Springer Spaniel, and active older dogs experiencing positive transitions.
**Top con:** Some dogs experience soft stools initially, though they are manageable and typically resolve over time.
