## Verdict

While the Febreze AIR Effects Air Freshener with Gain Island Fresh Scent has its fans, many reviewers have noted a decline in quality and longevity of the scent compared to past iterations. If you're a longtime user, you might find the newer formula lacking. For a longer-lasting fragrance, consider trying other Febreze Odor-Fighting options that better meet your expectations.

**Top pro:** Effectively covers smoke smell, and works well for neutralizing odors in bathrooms and from trash.
**Top con:** Significant reduction in scent quality compared to previous purchases.
