# TLDR Review: DJI Mini 3 Fly More Kit *Published: 2024-05-07 | Updated: 2024-12-07 | Source: https://shopsavvy.com/reviews-tldr/dji-mini-3-fly-more-kit* --- ## Verdict The DJI Mini 3 Pro Fly More Kit provides a decent value for enhancing flight time and adding convenience through extra batteries and a carrying bag. However, if professional image quality or certain operational features like precise 'Return To Home' and sound recording are critical, consider looking at higher-end models. Despite some shortcomings in the 'Pro' designation, the kit remains a solid choice for amateur drone enthusiasts and first-time users looking for safety and ease of use. **Top pro:** Impressive size and beautiful flight performance with responsive and accurate controls. **Top con:** Image quality is not suitable for professional photography and deteriorates at maximum zoom. ## Product: DJI Mini 3 Fly More Kit [Compare prices and price history on ShopSavvy](https://shopsavvy.com/products/dji-mini-3-fly-more-kit) ## Pros - Impressive size and beautiful flight performance with responsive and accurate controls. - Vertical shooting capability is a valuable and appreciated feature. - Good value and very useful for the DJI Mini 3 Pro, especially for extended flight time. - Kit includes two higher capacity batteries, charger capable of charging three at once, and extra propellers with screws. - Lightweight design at 249g makes carrying and maneuvering easy. - High build quality enhances durability and user experience. - Tri-directional obstacle avoidance system improves flight safety. - 1/1.3-inch CMOS sensor and maximum aperture of f/1.7 ensure high-quality photographs and good low-light performance. - Camera rotation feature for capturing in both landscape and portrait formats. - Good additional value compared to purchasing accessories separately. ## Cons - Image quality is not suitable for professional photography and deteriorates at maximum zoom. - The 'Pro' designation misleads as it falls short of professional standards. - Higher capacity batteries push the weight over 249g, requiring registration. - Charger has slower than desired charging speed. - Return To Home function is often inaccurate. - Lacks sound recording feature. - Carrying bag is too small for larger components and the design is considered uninspired. - Missing essential tools like a screwdriver and secure clip for propellers. - Does not include ND filters nor charger; multi-battery charger needs a 40W power source. ## Pros vs Cons at a Glance | Pros | Cons | |------|------| | Impressive size and beautiful flight performance with responsive and accurate controls. | Image quality is not suitable for professional photography and deteriorates at maximum zoom. | | Vertical shooting capability is a valuable and appreciated feature. | The 'Pro' designation misleads as it falls short of professional standards. | | Good value and very useful for the DJI Mini 3 Pro, especially for extended flight time. | Higher capacity batteries push the weight over 249g, requiring registration. | | Kit includes two higher capacity batteries, charger capable of charging three at once, and extra propellers with screws. | Charger has slower than desired charging speed. | | Lightweight design at 249g makes carrying and maneuvering easy. | Return To Home function is often inaccurate. | | High build quality enhances durability and user experience. | Lacks sound recording feature. | | Tri-directional obstacle avoidance system improves flight safety. | Carrying bag is too small for larger components and the design is considered uninspired. | | 1/1.3-inch CMOS sensor and maximum aperture of f/1.7 ensure high-quality photographs and good low-light performance. | Missing essential tools like a screwdriver and secure clip for propellers. | | Camera rotation feature for capturing in both landscape and portrait formats. | Does not include ND filters nor charger;
