However, it can be messy and difficult to use on vertical surfaces, with potential issues in dispensing after initial use. Make sure to have a strategy for cleanup and consider it if horizontal application and pest sealing are your main priorities. **Top pro:** Effectively fills holes in ceilings and seals out pests like mice and wasps. **Top con:** Difficulty in ordering extra straws and triggers for refills. ## Product: DAP 12oz Mouse Foam Sealant **Brand:** DAP [Compare prices and price history on ShopSavvy](https://shopsavvy.com/products/dap-12oz-mouse-foam-sealant) ## Pros - Effectively fills holes in ceilings and seals out pests like mice and wasps. - Highly effective at eliminating and blocking mice from entering occupied homes. - Successfully prevented larger pest issues like wasp nests by eliminating the queen. - Received positive feedback from professionals, including plumbers and repairmen, for rodent control. - Easy to dispense for repairs, despite some consistency issues. ## Cons - Difficulty in ordering extra straws and triggers for refills. - Original straws and triggers can become clogged during use. - Product can be runny, making cleanup challenging, especially on custom woodwork. - Lacks adhesion properties, particularly ineffective for vertical surfaces. - Issues with longevity and adequate dispensing after initial use. ## Pros vs Cons at a Glance | Pros | Cons | |------|------| | Effectively fills holes in ceilings and seals out pests like mice and wasps. | Difficulty in ordering extra straws and triggers for refills. | | Highly effective at eliminating and blocking mice from entering occupied homes. | Original straws and triggers can become clogged during use. | | Successfully prevented larger pest issues like wasp nests by eliminating the queen. | Product can be runny, making cleanup challenging, especially on custom woodwork. | | Received positive feedback from professionals, including plumbers and repairmen, for rodent control. | Lacks adhesion properties, particularly ineffective for vertical surfaces. | | Easy to dispense for repairs, despite some consistency issues. | Issues with longevity and adequate dispensing after initial use. | ## Last Seen Prices *Each price is the last one ShopSavvy observed, between 2024-12-07 and 2026-06-29;
