## Verdict

If you're tackling a DIY project or a professional door installation, the Sourcewood Partners Builder's Long Cedar Wood Shims are a top-notch choice. They're considered the best by many users and are highly recommended for their quality and effectiveness. However, if you’re looking for the classic cedar scent, you might want to explore other options as these shims won’t provide that aromatic experience.

**Top pro:** Cedar shims were perfect for a DIY project, contributing both functionality and aesthetics.
**Top con:** Lacks cedar scent entirely, even when the surface is scratched.
