## Pros
- Easy installation that took only about 10 minutes
- Plastic construction noted to be more durable than wood alternatives
- Kohler’s reputable brand adds confidence in quality
- The product fits well on skirted toilets and has a good finish

## Cons
- Plastic wing nuts are ineffective and poorly designed, often requiring replacement hardware
- The new tightening style fails to close the seat tightly as promised
- The seat is uncomfortable, with an inward angle that puts pressure on the hips and thighs
- Design issues make it difficult to sit comfortably or fully evacuate
- Overall, due to hardware and comfort issues, the product is not highly recommended without modifications

## Bottom Line

While the Cachet toilet seat is quick to install and built to last, its hardware flaws and uncomfortable ergonomic design make it less than ideal straight out of the box. If comfort and hardware reliability are priorities, consider alternatives with better hardware and ergonomic support, such as other Kohler models or brands specializing in comfort.
