## Verdict

The Bosch Bulldog 18-volt 8-Amp 3/4-in SDS-plus Variable Cordless Rotary Hammer Drill strikes an excellent balance between power, portability, and usability, making it a solid choice for both professionals and serious DIYers tackling concrete and masonry work. For the best experience, pair it with Bosch’s genuine 8 Ah battery, but don’t overlook the 4 Ah for a more durable option during heavier tasks. If you need a cordless rotary hammer with trusted Bosch quality and versatility, this model delivers—just be ready to invest in the right battery and possibly a carrying solution.

**Top pro:** Powerful enough to drill into concrete with bits up to 1" and even handle oversized SDS-Plus bits up to 1-3/8" without any trouble.
**Top con:** Some users found generic or non-Bosch batteries to be incompatible or underperforming with this drill, so sticking to Bosch’s batteries is advisable.
