It’s a solid, trusted choice especially if you use a carpet shampooer and want an antibacterial boost. However, if you’re looking for something that can confidently tackle upholstery or multiple surface types, you might want to keep browsing for a more versatile formula. Overall, for dedicated carpet use in pet-heavy homes, this one’s a smart buy.

**Top pro:** Effectively removes pet stains and odors instead of just masking them, making carpets truly clean.
**Top con:** Performance on upholstery is unclear or unknown, so it may not be the best choice if you need a multi-surface cleaner.
