## Verdict

Beneful Purina Original Dry Dog Food with Real Chicken is a flavorful, affordable option for pet owners seeking a grain-free diet for their dogs. However, there have been mixed experiences regarding its digestibility, with some dogs developing digestive issues possibly linked to a recent formula change. While the product may shine in terms of taste and affordability, it may not suit every dog's digestive health needs. Careful consideration and monitoring are recommended, particularly if your dog has known sensitivities to chicken or other dietary preferences.

**Top pro:** Dogs show a preference for the flavor, appealing even to picky eaters.
**Top con:** Some dogs experienced digestive issues, such as soft stools and diarrhea, with the most recent bag.
