However, its strong scent and potential to irritate sensitive skin are notable drawbacks. If your baby has particularly sensitive skin, you might want to test it cautiously or consider a more suitable hypoallergenic alternative to avoid adverse reactions. **Top pro:** Provides soothing moisture, particularly beneficial for sensitive skin, including older skin. **Top con:** Strong scent that may be off-putting and indicates potential irritation. ## Product: BaDove Baby Wash and Shampoo **Brand:** DOVE BAR [Compare prices and price history on ShopSavvy](https://shopsavvy.com/products/badove-baby-wash-and-shampoo) ## Pros - Provides soothing moisture, particularly beneficial for sensitive skin, including older skin. - Does not cause skin irritation, making it suitable for first-time users. - Effective for softening skin and can also be used on the face without irritation. - Gentle and hydrating option suitable for baby bath time. - Cleanses without drying, keeping baby's skin soft and comfortable. - Trusted choice for both new and experienced parents. - Affordable yet effective in providing a soothing bath experience. - Nourishing formulation is ideal for baby’s sensitive skin. ## Cons - Strong scent that may be off-putting and indicates potential irritation. - Not suitable for sensitive skin despite claims of being hypoallergenic. - Caused an adverse reaction with bright red skin and itching shortly after use. - Requires more product for effective cleansing due to minimal lather. ## Pros vs Cons at a Glance | Pros | Cons | |------|------| | Provides soothing moisture, particularly beneficial for sensitive skin, including older skin. | Strong scent that may be off-putting and indicates potential irritation. | | Does not cause skin irritation, making it suitable for first-time users. | Not suitable for sensitive skin despite claims of being hypoallergenic. | | Effective for softening skin and can also be used on the face without irritation. | Caused an adverse reaction with bright red skin and itching shortly after use. | | Gentle and hydrating option suitable for baby bath time. | Requires more product for effective cleansing due to minimal lather. | | Cleanses without drying, keeping baby's skin soft and comfortable. | | | Trusted choice for both new and experienced parents. | | | Affordable yet effective in providing a soothing bath experience. | | | Nourishing formulation is ideal for baby’s sensitive skin. | | ## Last Seen Prices *Each price is the last one ShopSavvy observed, on 2024-12-18;
