It's particularly praised for its 2K gaming capability, efficient power use, and future-ready features. While there are minor issues like the less-than-premium feel of the shroud and initial installation quirks, these don't overshadow its strong performance. Whether upgrading or building a new PC, it's a solid choice worth considering for gamers seeking dependable power at a mid-range price. **Top pro:** Extremely fast performance, even surpassing other RTX GPUs. **Top con:** Front RGB lights may look odd in some cases. ## Product: ASUS Dual GeForce RTX 4060 EVO OC 8GB **Brand:** ASUS [Compare prices and price history on ShopSavvy](https://shopsavvy.com/products/asus-dual-geforce-rtx-4060-evo-oc-8gb) ## Pros - Extremely fast performance, even surpassing other RTX GPUs. - Nearly silent operation, thanks to the advanced fan design. - Outstanding graphics for RTX-supported games, like Minecraft with RTX. - Excellent value for the performance delivered, making it highly recommended for gaming builds. - Handles gaming in 2K and offers impressive results even in 1080p and 1440p. - Easy to install with straightforward PCIe slot insertion. - Compact yet sturdy two-slot design, ideal for vertical setups. - Efficient power consumption and good thermal management. - Supports multiple monitors with a variety of connectors. - Future-proof for upcoming gaming demands with customizable RGB lighting. ## Cons - Front RGB lights may look odd in some cases. - The shroud feels somewhat cheap to some users. - User interface for installation and adjustments could be more intuitive. - Protective rubber pieces may cause confusion if not removed before installation. - Fans might not run during the first boot, potentially misleading users into thinking there is an issue. ## Pros vs Cons at a Glance | Pros | Cons | |------|------| | Extremely fast performance, even surpassing other RTX GPUs. | Front RGB lights may look odd in some cases. | | Nearly silent operation, thanks to the advanced fan design. | The shroud feels somewhat cheap to some users. | | Outstanding graphics for RTX-supported games, like Minecraft with RTX. | User interface for installation and adjustments could be more intuitive. | | Excellent value for the performance delivered, making it highly recommended for gaming builds. | Protective rubber pieces may cause confusion if not removed before installation. | | Handles gaming in 2K and offers impressive results even in 1080p and 1440p. | Fans might not run during the first boot, potentially misleading users into thinking there is an issue. | | Easy to install with straightforward PCIe slot insertion. | | | Compact yet sturdy two-slot design, ideal for vertical setups. | | | Efficient power consumption and good thermal management. | | | Supports multiple monitors with a variety of connectors. | | | Future-proof for upcoming gaming demands with customizable RGB lighting. | | ## Last Seen Prices *Each price is the last one ShopSavvy observed, between 2024-09-09 and 2024-11-06;
