# TLDR Review: Arm & Hammer Multi-Cat Litter 29 lb *Published: 2024-12-30 | Updated: 2025-02-14 | Source: https://shopsavvy.com/reviews-tldr/arm-and-hammer-multi-cat-litter-29-lb* --- ## Verdict Arm & Hammer Multi-Cat Superior Odor Control Scented Clumping Cat Litter does an impressive job of controlling odors and is generally favored by cats. However, its strong scent and inconsistent clumping might be a deal breaker for those with sensitivities or specific clumping needs. If you're sensitive to fragrance or prioritize consistent clumping, this might not be the best choice, and you may want to consider an alternative like an unscented option. **Top pro:** The litter has a favorable consistency and produces no dust. **Top con:** The current size is too heavy, making it difficult to lift and pour; a smaller size is desired. ## Product: Arm & Hammer Multi-Cat Litter 29 lb ## Pros - The litter has a favorable consistency and produces no dust. - Most cats seem to enjoy and prefer this litter. - It features excellent odor control, effectively eliminating bad smells. - The litter clumps quickly, making it suitable for use with a litter robot. - The scent remains pleasant even after several days of use. - Allows for a cleaning routine of 2-3 weeks without a complete litter change. ## Cons - The current size is too heavy, making it difficult to lift and pour; a smaller size is desired. - The strong chemical smell can permeate throughout the house and may cause throat irritation. - The clumping performance is inconsistent, sometimes sticking to the bottom of the litter box. - The added fragrance is overpowering, especially after use, making it unsuitable for those sensitive to strong scents. - Some users find it intolerable and have opted to switch to another brand entirely. ## Pros vs Cons at a Glance | Pros | Cons | |------|------| | The litter has a favorable consistency and produces no dust. | The current size is too heavy, making it difficult to lift and pour;
