## Pros
- Sturdy construction and matches the description.
- Fits both thick mattresses and those with foam toppers.
- Lightly quilted and cottony texture enhances comfort.
- Provides a quiet sleeping experience once fitted with a sheet on top.
- No plastic smell or extra noise when moving in bed.

## Cons
- The design with a complete zipper makes removal for cleaning cumbersome.
- Noisy due to the plastic material, distracting when moving in bed.
- Claims to regulate temperature, but tends to make users hot and sweaty.
- Does not fit snugly, causing significant wrinkling and requiring constant adjustment.
- Failed to prevent stains, resulting in marks on the mattress.
- Makes softer mattresses feel firmer, which may not be desirable for some users.
- Difficult to put on, often requiring two people to secure it due to its design and zip closure.

## Bottom Line

The AllerEase Ultimate Protection and Comfort Waterproof Mattress Protector offers sturdy construction and can enhance comfort with its lightly quilted texture. However, its noisiness, fit issues, and lack of temperature regulation may be a turn-off for those who prefer a silent and cooling protector. If you prioritize a snug fit and effective temperature control, you might consider alternatives that better meet these needs, especially if you have a softer mattress. Make sure to weigh these factors when deciding if this product is right for you.
