## Pros
- Dogs generally find the salmon and brown rice flavor very appealing and enjoy eating it.
- Contains glucosamine, which supports joint health, a nice bonus for medium to large dogs.
- Formulated to be nutritionally balanced and suitable for dogs, including those with chicken allergies (contains only a small amount of chicken meal).
- Some pet owners noticed a reduction in allergy symptoms after a few weeks on this food.
- Offers excellent value for the price compared to similar options.
- Both dry and canned dog food options are available from the Wag brand, providing some variety.

## Cons
- Several dogs experienced digestive issues such as diarrhea and vomiting after switching to this food, which typically resolved after discontinuation.
- A serious concern: there are reports of severe and irreversible health decline in dogs fed this food long term, including lethargy and weakening that reversed only after switching back to a previous diet.
- In at least one case, the health decline was gradual and initially mistaken for normal aging.
- Contains a small amount of chicken meal, which could be problematic for highly sensitive dogs, despite overall suitability for chicken-allergic pets.
- Some uncertainty remains whether the food alone caused illness, but multiple reports suggest a strong suspect link.
