# Twelve South HoverBar Duo iPad Stand *Published: 2026-01-12 | Updated: 2026-01-12 | Source: https://shopsavvy.com/products/twelve-south-hoverbar-duo-ipad-stand* --- **Brand:** Twelve South **Price Range:** $59.9925 - $117.488401 across 14 retailers ## Pros - Exceptional adjustability with tilt, raise, lower, and rotation options, making it versatile for FaceTime, reading, drawing, and cooking. - Strong magnets securely hold the iPad in place, preventing slipping even when rotated or tilted. - Comes with both a weighted desk base and an optional shelf clamp, offering flexible and secure mounting options. - Sleek, minimal design complements Apple devices without looking bulky or out of place. - Supports multiple iPad sizes, so you don’t need a different stand for each device. - Premium, sturdy build quality suitable for frequent and long-term use. - Heavy and stable base prevents tipping when positioned correctly. - Minimal desk footprint when using the clamp, freeing up workspace and allowing objects on the base for desk organization. - Adjustable arm strength with included Allen wrenches lets you customize tension as needed. ## Cons - The arm tends to sag or slowly tilt over time, especially with heavier iPads, requiring frequent tightening or even additional support like Velcro. - Switching between the weighted base and clamp requires extra time and effort due to the lack of a quick-attach mechanism. - Adjustments need three different hex wrenches, which is inconvenient and cumbersome for frequent changes. - Some adjustment screws are mis-sized, requiring excessive force to tighten, which risks stripping them. - The base can still tip when used with smaller iPads (like the 9.7") unless the device is positioned directly over the base. - Clamp mounting is secure but impractical for users who want to frequently reposition the stand around a desk or between rooms. - The stand tends to shake during touch interaction, making it less ideal for users who tap the screen often; better suited for use with Sidecar or a keyboard/mouse setup. ## Last Seen Prices | Retailer | Price | Availability | Last seen | Store's standard terms | |----------|-------|-------------|-----------|------------------------| | [retailers/containerstore](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/37b5c443-062e-32ed-0286-c0056a672c3c/offers/9b62eca6-d622-8bf0-d9d9-134846d6d283?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $59.99 | In Stock | 2025-12-22 (may have changed) | | | [retailers/apple](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/37b5c443-062e-32ed-0286-c0056a672c3c/offers/bcbf8d90-317d-f865-1c9b-6801e3285c4c?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $79.95 | In Stock | 2025-12-08 (may have changed) | 14-day returns (in store too) · free return shipping · free shipping | | [retailers/instacart](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/37b5c443-062e-32ed-0286-c0056a672c3c/offers/0df68aad-4fb8-9cba-f2f1-d0dd45edcfa1?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $79.99 | In Stock | 2025-10-05 (may have changed) | | | [retailers/twelvesouth](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/37b5c443-062e-32ed-0286-c0056a672c3c/offers/db8e9a85-eea2-610a-37f1-6bb4e18d1ab2?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $79.99 | In Stock | 2025-10-05 (may have changed) | | | [retailers/provantage](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/37b5c443-062e-32ed-0286-c0056a672c3c/offers/2ca10a65-2fa3-eed1-cb5f-524c2aa7843f?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $79.99 | In Stock | 2025-10-05 (may have changed) | | | [retailers/ubereats](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/37b5c443-062e-32ed-0286-c0056a672c3c/offers/dd086804-12b8-b521-4e1d-05eb5dcfbaca?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $79.99 | In Stock | 2025-10-05 (may have changed) | | | [retailers/doordash](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/37b5c443-062e-32ed-0286-c0056a672c3c/offers/26326114-b157-6e69-cbd0-10fd4ad41d1a?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $79.99 | In Stock | 2025-10-05 (may have changed) | | | [retailers/amazon](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/37b5c443-062e-32ed-0286-c0056a672c3c/offers/87e53722-e54c-bcaa-5c87-b3ad7e70dfdb?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $79.99 | In Stock | 2025-12-22 (may have changed) | 30-day returns (in store too) | | [retailers/bestbuy](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/37b5c443-062e-32ed-0286-c0056a672c3c/offers/cfe42451-c5dc-8026-97ca-14a5a9de7574?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $79.99 | In Stock | 2025-12-22 (may have changed) | 15-day returns (in store too) · free return shipping · free shipping on $35+ | | [retailers/target](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/37b5c443-062e-32ed-0286-c0056a672c3c/offers/eb47028f-2803-2fda-0369-5c05ce3bcfd8?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $79.99 | In Stock | 2025-12-22 (may have changed) | 90-day returns (in store too) · free return shipping · free shipping on $35+ | | [retailers/kohls](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/37b5c443-062e-32ed-0286-c0056a672c3c/offers/65bc44ca-930d-970c-7e27-a9fe190a05a4?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $79.99 | In Stock | 2025-12-22 (may have changed) | | | [retailers/bhphotovideo](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/37b5c443-062e-32ed-0286-c0056a672c3c/offers/3fe5c2a1-6f0d-d678-6a59-f0b2de5a9a67?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $79.99 | In Stock | 2026-01-16 (may have changed) | 30-day returns (in store too) | | [retailers/staples](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/37b5c443-062e-32ed-0286-c0056a672c3c/offers/9f54be77-af16-a8ac-aec7-7a1a2e20d972?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $83.19 | In Stock | 2025-10-05 (may have changed) | | | [retailers/storminggravity](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/37b5c443-062e-32ed-0286-c0056a672c3c/offers/20494a3d-fccc-8d2f-d757-3c7016705af3?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $117.49 | In Stock | 2025-12-22 (may have changed) | | *Store terms are each retailer's standard return and shipping policy from ShopSavvy's retailer research;
