## Pros
- Exceptional coverage up to 7,600 sq. ft., effectively eliminating dead zones throughout large and multi-level homes.
- Tri-band WiFi 7 technology with simultaneous 2.4GHz, 5GHz, and 6GHz bands delivers ultra-fast combined speeds up to 10 Gbps, perfect for 4K/8K streaming and lag-free gaming.
- Supports up to 200 connected devices, ideal for demanding smart home setups with seamless handling of multiple streams.
- Four 2.5 Gbps Ethernet ports and a USB 3.0 port provide versatile wired connectivity and high-speed data transfer options.
- Mesh nodes operate as full routers rather than base/extender combos, offering multiple Gigabit Ethernet ports and robust backhaul support.
- Intuitive TP-Link Deco app makes setup quick and simple, including step-by-step guidance and barcode scanning for adding nodes.
- AI-Roaming ensures smooth and automatic handoff between nodes for uninterrupted device connectivity as you move around your home.
- Guest and IoT network isolation enhances security and device management without complicating user experience.
- Features advanced security with HomeShield, VPN support, and WPA3 encryption to protect the network and connected devices.
- Allows disabling the 6GHz band for compatibility with older devices, a flexibility not commonly found on competing systems.

## Cons
- Some users report that WiFi 7 devices may not connect at full WiFi 7 speeds yet, with devices often connecting as WiFi 6 or 6E instead.
- Higher frequency bands (5GHz and 6GHz) struggle with wall penetration compared to 2.4GHz, requiring strategic node placement in thick-walled homes.
- Occasional compatibility workarounds may be needed for certain smart home devices, such as specific 2.4GHz-dependent units.
- Initial setup may require ISP authorization or extra attention for full integration, which can be a minor inconvenience.
- WiFi 7 support is cutting-edge but still evolving, so early adopters might not see the full potential right away compared to waiting for broader device support.
- Compared to some competitors, the upgrade to WiFi 7 comes at a noticeably higher price, which may be a consideration if budget is tight.
- Not many user reviews mention extended real-world testing of features like VPN and HomeShield security beyond general usage.
