# TP-Link AC750 Range Extender RE205 *Published: 2025-07-26 | Updated: 2025-07-26 | Source: https://shopsavvy.com/products/tp-link-ac750-range-extender-re205* --- **Brand:** TP-LINK **Price Range:** $12.99 - $99.99 across 83 retailers ## Pros - Easy to set up, especially if pairing with a TP-Link router. - Compact design, although it's easy to misplace due to its small size. - Provides strong and reliable Wi-Fi signals on both bands. - Offers good value for the features, matching user expectations. - User-friendly setup process via TP-Link Tether app. - Effectively extends Wi-Fi signal for home use, supporting devices like telescopes and Teslas. - High satisfaction from users with multiple purchases and plans for repurchasing. ## Cons - Did not significantly improve Wi-Fi performance over large areas like a 3000 sq ft house. - Only offers basic signal extension; best used within 20 to 30 feet of the source. - Operates in half duplex, potentially halving the signal speed. - Initial setup can be a bit time-consuming, taking up to 30 minutes. - Some users found that it would disappear from Wi-Fi networks. ## Specifications | Attribute | Value | |-----------|-------| | model |
