# ThermoPro TP-16 Thermometer *Published: 2026-01-17 | Updated: 2026-01-17 | Source: https://shopsavvy.com/products/thermopro-tp-16-thermometer* --- **Brand:** ThermoPro **Price Range:** $17.99 - $71.97 across 15 retailers ## Pros - Provides accurate and reliable temperature readings with a large, easy-to-read digital display. - Simple and intuitive to operate with clear instructions and user-friendly controls. - Comes with preset temperature settings for various meats, plus manual adjustments for personalized cooking. - Loud alarm stays on until the temperature drops below the set point, so you won’t miss it. - Great for monitoring meats while smoking, grilling, or cooking in the oven without needing to open the device frequently. - Offers excellent value for the price with consistent performance during its usable life. - Long battery life with standard AAA batteries. - Helps achieve perfectly cooked meat by tracking internal temperatures accurately. - Suitable for thicker, dense meats like steaks or pork where the probe can stay securely in place. ## Cons - Probe cord is delicate; prone to kinks or damage if not handled carefully, which impacts durability. - No built-in clip to hold the probe securely; requires creative placement to prevent slipping, especially in thinner or thawing foods. - Screen and display may degrade or become partially unreadable after about 9 months to 2 years of moderate use. - Overall product durability is somewhat disappointing; it tends to last around 3-4 years before accuracy or display issues occur. - May struggle to stay in place or give accurate readings with thin or soft/thawing items. - Not ideal if you need a very long-lasting thermometer without display deterioration over time. ## Last Seen Prices | Retailer | Price | Availability | Last seen | Store's standard terms | |----------|-------|-------------|-----------|------------------------| | [retailers/amazon](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/Ypyaqso1fScWJKgUmi8c/offers/27235cb4-b80b-8ba0-dd06-93484a9f3224?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $17.99 | In Stock | 2025-11-23 (may have changed) | 30-day returns (in store too) | | [Soxy](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/Ypyaqso1fScWJKgUmi8c/offers/43f098d6-27ec-a40f-df02-dad0e7e63105?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $38.50 | In Stock | 2024-07-20 (may have changed) | | | [Whole Earth Provision Co.](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/Ypyaqso1fScWJKgUmi8c/offers/18def954-bf33-c922-8367-65cb6f2f1253?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $39.99 | In Stock | 2024-07-20 (may have changed) | | | [Mercari: Your Marketplace](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/Ypyaqso1fScWJKgUmi8c/offers/a757ce2a-f6af-e03c-157a-c0fbf2578826?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $45.00 | In Stock | 2024-07-20 (may have changed) | | | [Eagle Eye Outfitters](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/Ypyaqso1fScWJKgUmi8c/offers/224f06fb-9556-90b9-ad26-d947f1b4fe15?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $54.95 | In Stock | 2024-07-20 (may have changed) | | | [retailers/boynecountrysports](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/Ypyaqso1fScWJKgUmi8c/offers/a503a60b-b128-3df7-e631-d6c4b6f644f9?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $55.00 | In Stock | 2025-11-23 (may have changed) | | | [retailers/bloomingdales](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/Ypyaqso1fScWJKgUmi8c/offers/f70aa626-5b33-e183-70b2-dda31d3e642b?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $55.00 | In Stock | 2025-11-23 (may have changed) | | | [Aj's Ski and Sports](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/Ypyaqso1fScWJKgUmi8c/offers/f315878e-b916-0593-79dd-86687825016d?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $55.00 | In Stock | 2024-07-20 (may have changed) | | | [Back Country](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/Ypyaqso1fScWJKgUmi8c/offers/2079cbe5-da00-3b22-99bb-a1848cd15a18?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $55.00 | In Stock | 2024-07-20 (may have changed) | | | [DICK'S Sporting Goods](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/Ypyaqso1fScWJKgUmi8c/offers/ad2416cb-ffd0-c55a-f0c6-cc3fea640805?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $55.00 | In Stock | 2024-07-20 (may have changed) | 90-day returns (in store too) | | [Macy's](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/Ypyaqso1fScWJKgUmi8c/offers/c812cdd7-271a-aa5a-9164-d8e1e6a9ed73?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $55.00 | In Stock | 2024-07-20 (may have changed) | 30-day returns (in store too) · free shipping on $25+ | | [Moosejaw](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/Ypyaqso1fScWJKgUmi8c/offers/5547126e-1e75-8dea-7113-4866b5713906?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $55.00 | In Stock | 2024-07-20 (may have changed) | | | [Dillards - Source](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/Ypyaqso1fScWJKgUmi8c/offers/95da37d4-bc12-0e3f-1504-2a5677b899f7?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $55.05 | In Stock | 2024-07-20 (may have changed) | | | [SSENSE](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/Ypyaqso1fScWJKgUmi8c/offers/1e2729f9-58fa-38c3-37d4-2f02b9c67017?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $70.00 | In Stock | 2024-07-20 (may have changed) | | | [shein.com](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/Ypyaqso1fScWJKgUmi8c/offers/31f868b6-ddbb-8911-ff09-e7323cfdc5e5?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $71.97 | In Stock | 2024-07-20 (may have changed) | | *Store terms are each retailer's standard return and shipping policy from ShopSavvy's retailer research;
