# TheraGun Prime 5th Gen Massage Gun *Published: 2024-12-06 | Updated: 2025-01-04 | Source: https://shopsavvy.com/products/theragun-prime-5th-gen-massage-gun* --- **Brand:** TheraGun **Price Range:** $199 - $498.07 across 30 retailers ## Pros - Improves on previous models with a better design and performance. - Features a sleek, minimal aesthetic with a distinctive triangle handle for extra comfort. - Notable reduction in noise compared to earlier models, though still not silent. - Includes a smart app providing guidance, helpful even for experienced users. - Effective at temporarily increasing mobility and addressing muscular tension. - Significant improvements reported for somatic tinnitus related to muscle tension. - Highly rated in sports publications for its muscle massage efficacy. - Offers effective relief for sedentary lifestyles by improving circulation. - Powerfully effective even on the lowest setting, beneficial for intense muscle soreness. - Versatile for varied fitness needs, catering to both runners and lifting enthusiasts. ## Cons - Heavier than some models, which might be challenging for prolonged use. - Fixed arm design can make hard-to-reach spots difficult to manage. - Lacks telephone support, raising customer service concerns. - Doesn't turn off as expected, leading to some usability issues. - Battery life doesn't match the advertised 120 minutes—more like 50 minutes. - Noise level is similar to less expensive models, contrary to quieter claims. - After three weeks, signs of wear such as fraying rubber are noticeable. ## Last Seen
