# The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild *Published: 2025-02-28 | Updated: 2025-02-28 | Source: https://shopsavvy.com/products/the-legend-of-zelda:-breath-of-the-wild* --- **Brand:** Nintendo **Price Range:** $22.99 - $66.61 across 32 retailers ## Pros - Represents a transformative moment in gaming, setting new standards for future titles. - Offers vast and varied world exploration with no two players encountering the same elements in the same way. - Introduces balanced changes to classic mechanics that enhance player growth and interaction. - Graphics are polished and innovative, creating immersive environments that enhance gameplay. - Includes uniquely impactful music that draws players into the game world in unprecedented ways. - Combines nostalgic retro aesthetics with immersive storytelling, creating a masterfully integrated design. - Engaging gameplay appeals to a wide audience, from casual wanderers to hardcore gamers. - Considered a masterpiece, both by players and critics, with high ratings from reviewers. - Features well-designed and challenging puzzles that offer a rewarding gameplay experience. - Highly recommended as a must-have for Nintendo Switch owners. ## Cons - Some critics mention the absence of voice-overs for all NPC dialogue, suggesting higher production values would have been beneficial. - Game lacks major dungeons and deeper storylines, which some players desire for a more satisfying experience. - Visual and control quirks, including cloud shadow discrepancies and quirky control mapping, detract slightly from the experience. - Climbing mountains can be frustrating without elixirs for speed and stamina, adding to the difficulty. - Missing pamphlets and game guides hinder gameplay comprehension for new players. - Not suitable for children, featuring challenging puzzles and frequent boss battles tailored for hardcore gamers. - Graphics reportedly appear washed out on a TV compared to handheld play on the Switch. - The focus on combat over exploration and adventure can detract from enjoyment for players preferring less violent gaming experiences. ## Specifications | Attribute | Value | |-----------|-------| | productName |
