# SYLVANIA SilverStar Ultra 9005 Headlight Bulb *Published: 2025-02-11 | Updated: 2024-12-31 | Source: https://shopsavvy.com/products/sylvania-silverstar-ultra-9005-headlight-bulb* --- **Brand:** SYLVANIA **Price Range:** $30.25 - $85.05 across 32 retailers ## Pros - Provides significantly better illumination compared to cheap OEM bulbs. - Offers a nice white light that enhances visibility on poorly lit roads. - Improves visibility of road signs and objects, reducing safety hazards. - Offers extended coverage straight ahead and to the sides, allowing for better awareness. - Driving experience during low-light conditions is greatly improved. - Designed to shine properly without unusual light patterns, maintaining OEM standards. - Performance justifies the price despite being more expensive. - Excellent brightness for improved visibility during early morning darkness. ## Cons - Reduced lifespan compared to some alternatives; often needing replacement within 16 months or less. - Some users experienced repeated issues with bulb longevity, having replaced them four times in two years. - Bulbs are not as bright as expected and do not meet previous quality standards. - Product only suitable for high beam, leading to compatibility issues. - Feels the product does not deliver sufficient value for the cost and suggests trying a different brand. ## Last Seen Prices | Retailer | Price | Availability | Last seen | |----------|-------|-------------|-----------| | [Pelican Parts](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/mLSEROKnn2k3QzN0QN7g/offers/pZBFHM44yyg3LJp4q7y1?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $30.25 | In Stock | 2023-08-17 (may have changed) | | [Autoplicity.com](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/mLSEROKnn2k3QzN0QN7g/offers/Hv5ZmhV7bsJX1UWLeYhv?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $32.17 | In Stock | 2023-09-02 (may have changed) | | [NextPickStore](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/mLSEROKnn2k3QzN0QN7g/offers/cs8rOPHjRCpnrb5KA7qY?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $32.50 | In Stock | 2026-05-28 (may have changed) | | [Radwell.com](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/mLSEROKnn2k3QzN0QN7g/offers/0weZa5jJF30yWUMvYIU9?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $33.00 | In Stock | 2023-08-17 (may have changed) | | [Sixity.com](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/mLSEROKnn2k3QzN0QN7g/offers/wLyTTyvJOTgWkoPSzhq6?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $35.35 | In Stock | 2022-10-23 (may have changed) | | [Instacart](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/mLSEROKnn2k3QzN0QN7g/offers/zW4jJf8PM8vqaNORv8gc?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $39.19 | In Stock | 2022-12-08 (may have changed) | | [Tractor Supply Co](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/mLSEROKnn2k3QzN0QN7g/offers/8ec27823-cc01-6c56-b695-e6e30404be55?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $42.49 | In Stock | 2023-09-11 (may have changed) | | [America Auto Direct](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/mLSEROKnn2k3QzN0QN7g/offers/7jncLUgY4LgJ9Zr2bwMo?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $43.49 | In Stock | 2023-09-02 (may have changed) | | [partsmonkey.com](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/mLSEROKnn2k3QzN0QN7g/offers/386b1cd8-b370-43bf-bac6-10c233a94959?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $43.99 | In Stock | 2024-12-31 (may have changed) | | [sportcompactwarehouse.com](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/mLSEROKnn2k3QzN0QN7g/offers/8c7a1639-baaf-c60c-46c5-5e5e2f9e1f67?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $43.99 | In Stock | 2024-12-31 (may have changed) | | [BrookPad](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/mLSEROKnn2k3QzN0QN7g/offers/VvAdg4mGVf35DPZLtRJI?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $44.00 | In Stock | 2022-11-20 (may have changed) | | [Auto Anything](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/mLSEROKnn2k3QzN0QN7g/offers/HwRIruZtJJFfv4p8Hx7F?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $44.75 | In Stock | 2023-06-05 (may have changed) | | [etrailer.com](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/mLSEROKnn2k3QzN0QN7g/offers/9d1d89c7-578e-5a41-67e3-9f8700c4cc88?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $44.75 | In Stock | 2024-12-31 (may have changed) | | [Summit Racing](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/mLSEROKnn2k3QzN0QN7g/offers/79d71dd7-3e6c-f80d-15de-19dc45b25a7c?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $44.75 | In Stock | 2024-12-31 (may have changed) | | [Ubuy Many GEOs](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/mLSEROKnn2k3QzN0QN7g/offers/b23354a1-4a1a-6685-ccbd-8675b988d88e?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $44.75 | In Stock | 2024-12-31 (may have changed) | | [Walmart](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/mLSEROKnn2k3QzN0QN7g/offers/1GKRzHl9o5fM4Ef93EL8?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $44.75 | In Stock | 2023-04-08 (may have changed) | | [Auto Barn](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/mLSEROKnn2k3QzN0QN7g/offers/lau1m27zICOSebEHcwZY?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $44.95 | In Stock | 2023-08-17 (may have changed) | | [Bulbs.com](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/mLSEROKnn2k3QzN0QN7g/offers/10W6YEzIbfl2bbO3lNjH?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $44.98 | In Stock | 2023-11-12 (may have changed) | | [Fleet Farm](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/mLSEROKnn2k3QzN0QN7g/offers/HhuYlv20h1EdzYwKv3Iz?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $44.99 | In Stock | 2022-08-15 (may have changed) | | [Theisen's](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/mLSEROKnn2k3QzN0QN7g/offers/U8nEt2DwDDqYsVTJOizB?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $44.99 | In Stock | 2024-12-31 (may have changed) | [See every retailer and the full price history on ShopSavvy](https://shopsavvy.com/products/sylvania-silverstar-ultra-9005-headlight-bulb) --- *About this page: ShopSavvy compares prices across thousands of retailers, aggregates expert and user reviews, and tracks price history to help you make informed buying decisions.
