# Spectra Metals Brown Downspout *Published: 2025-05-11 | Updated: 2025-05-11 | Source: https://shopsavvy.com/products/spectra-metals-brown-downspout* --- **Brand:** 212 Main **Price Range:** $8.63 - $25.2 across 28 retailers ## Pros - Provides a longer spout, which is beneficial for redirecting water effectively. - Features a nicely made, secure locking mechanism that aids installation. - Accommodates both 2X3 and 3X4 downspouts with a removable flange. - Fits gutters more effectively than some competitors. - Made in the USA, which is a plus for those looking for domestic products. ## Cons - Poor design and mechanics lead to leakage and frequent detachment issues. - Pieces snap together instead of screwing, causing gaps and potential disassembly when stressed. - Lacks sufficient screws and clear instructions, complicating DIY installation. - Super Glue needed to keep the adapter attached securely. - Durability is questionable, with materials becoming brittle and cracking over time. - The product is not a universal fit and may require modifications on certain drains. - Quality control issues reported, with splits in corrugated material and mismatch. - Long-term durability concerns with significant leakage issues remaining unsolved. ## Last Seen Prices | Retailer | Price | Availability | Last seen | Store's standard terms | |----------|-------|-------------|-----------|------------------------| | [The BuildClub](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/d4tY4yV59a7uUwjEoc7I/offers/M8iU5YfI7xZtAWo21AgN?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $8.63 | In Stock | 2022-08-15 (may have changed) | | | [hartvillehardware.com](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/d4tY4yV59a7uUwjEoc7I/offers/IIZPgfOzZdrg7cMEcmUe?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $8.97 | In Stock | 2026-08-11 (may have changed) | | | [Lowes](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/d4tY4yV59a7uUwjEoc7I/offers/FTigiiPLCKKzjrSL21hO?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $8.98 | In Stock | 2023-03-30 (may have changed) | 90-day returns (in store too) | | [My Store](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/d4tY4yV59a7uUwjEoc7I/offers/DA88noU165Y5WIPOTzLH?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $9.00 | In Stock | 2023-04-30 (may have changed) | | | [My Store](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/d4tY4yV59a7uUwjEoc7I/offers/d28iKuibVBDIHCrMe4O8?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $9.00 | In Stock | 2023-04-30 (may have changed) | | | [My Store](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/d4tY4yV59a7uUwjEoc7I/offers/AJAj94S4ybvGSzYV9TYp?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $9.00 | In Stock | 2023-05-26 (may have changed) | | | [My Store](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/d4tY4yV59a7uUwjEoc7I/offers/ZDDv1hqTGPUy78RvBA0y?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $9.00 | In Stock | 2023-03-21 (may have changed) | | | [My Store](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/d4tY4yV59a7uUwjEoc7I/offers/3JwgJDRFY4liwFMsXHIV?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $9.00 | In Stock | 2023-05-05 (may have changed) | | | [BuildClub](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/d4tY4yV59a7uUwjEoc7I/offers/F6ZCWXMhADYmjI9cBItz?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $9.37 | In Stock | 2023-07-15 (may have changed) | | | [Walmart](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/d4tY4yV59a7uUwjEoc7I/offers/3uffTZXlaPQwdpGZh0yq?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $10.98 | In Stock | 2023-05-12 (may have changed) | | | [comfortmarket.com](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/d4tY4yV59a7uUwjEoc7I/offers/wwWvMqp6BlufxAkHB5xr?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $11.60 | In Stock | 2023-05-30 (may have changed) | | | [UnbeatableSale](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/d4tY4yV59a7uUwjEoc7I/offers/XTXnzegjQd9GaTlqYYIZ?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $11.60 | In Stock | 2023-07-15 (may have changed) | | | [SIM Supply](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/d4tY4yV59a7uUwjEoc7I/offers/pR8WQPEy5SlZrlu29H6w?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $15.92 | In Stock | 2023-02-23 (may have changed) | | | [SupplyHog](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/d4tY4yV59a7uUwjEoc7I/offers/rS8vnSJmyW8DF2qTTrM6?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $16.41 | In Stock | 2023-07-15 (may have changed) | | | [Caron Building & Rental Center](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/d4tY4yV59a7uUwjEoc7I/offers/yoKlatwjP96RXbKpdBuv?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $16.49 | In Stock | 2023-05-09 (may have changed) | | | [Carr Hardware](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/d4tY4yV59a7uUwjEoc7I/offers/9rU1NuazU65E224hc1Xh?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $16.49 | In Stock | 2023-07-15 (may have changed) | | | [East Coast Lumber](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/d4tY4yV59a7uUwjEoc7I/offers/0RfkeKFHDzJkYMBRHo7k?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $16.49 | In Stock | 2023-07-15 (may have changed) | | | [Family Hardware](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/d4tY4yV59a7uUwjEoc7I/offers/odc2Ux2qF7z2YhzYCpUU?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $16.49 | In Stock | 2023-07-15 (may have changed) | | | [Farm & Home Hardware](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/d4tY4yV59a7uUwjEoc7I/offers/g2KVmZqAbRdUAFYR8ByX?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $16.49 | In Stock | 2023-05-09 (may have changed) | | | [Hellers Hardware](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/d4tY4yV59a7uUwjEoc7I/offers/I97tWqclR9Z6xZ79lFR1?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $16.49 | In Stock | 2023-05-09 (may have changed) | | *Store terms are each retailer's standard return and shipping policy from ShopSavvy's retailer research; some products and categories differ, so check with the store before buying.* [See every retailer and the full price history on ShopSavvy](https://shopsavvy.com/products/spectra-metals-brown-downspout) --- *About this page: ShopSavvy compares prices across thousands of retailers, aggregates expert and user reviews, and tracks price history to help you make informed buying decisions.
