# Shark AZ2002 Vertex Vacuum *Published: 2025-05-24 | Updated: 2025-07-18 | Source: https://shopsavvy.com/products/shark-az2002-vertex-vacuum* --- **Brand:** Shark **Price Range:** $114.896625 - $479.99 across 17 retailers ## Pros - Great suction power that effectively cleans pet hair, dirt, and debris like glitter, sand, and cereal. - Impressive cleaning effectiveness on carpets compared to older models. - Self-cleaning brushroll and well-engineered design prevent hair clogging and reduce maintenance. - Easy handling and maneuverability, even under furniture and on stairs, with detachable features. - Effective filter system that prevents dust from being released back into the air. - Smooth transitions between hardwood floors and carpets without changing the vacuum head. - Highly recommended by users, some claiming it's the best vacuum they've ever owned. - Exceptional with pet hair, making it a top choice for homes with pets. - Large dust cup with convenient clean-out features. - Strong battery life and extended reach for increased usability. ## Cons - Design flaw with the 'Power Head' that may flop down after several months of use. - Parts cannot be individually ordered, requiring purchase of whole units for repairs, causing frustration. - Heavier weight might require caution, especially on carpets where it can 'run away'. - Long hair may get trapped in the dust bin, necessitating manual intervention. ## Last Seen Prices | Retailer | Price | Availability | Last seen | Store's standard terms |
