# Shadow 4K UHD *Published: 2026-02-10 | Updated: 2026-02-10 | Source: https://shopsavvy.com/products/shadow-4k-uhd* --- **Brand:** Well Go Usa **Price Range:** $12.41 - $39.99 across 23 retailers ## Pros - Features stunning cinematography with a unique palette of grays, subtle greens, and muted skin tones, creating a beautiful and atmospheric visual style. - Technically outstanding in 4K UHD, revealing intricate detail in dark scenes and vibrant contrast in lantern-lit sequences. - Includes hauntingly beautiful traditional Chinese music with excellent sound quality, enhancing the immersive experience. - Excellent martial arts action with well-choreographed Kung Fu sequences that are both innovative and memorable. - Combines a complex, multi-threaded story blending Wuxia, historical elements, and Hitchcockian narrative touches, offering a distinctive film experience. - Visually spectacular with each shot looking like a framed art print, leveraging black, white, and grey tones with bold blood red accents symbolizing Yin and Yang. - Highly rewatchable and engaging, comparable to successful series like Ip Man, making it a staple for martial arts film enthusiasts. - Includes English language dub and making-of featurettes on the Blu-ray, adding value for collectors and fans. - Evokes a darker, mythic atmosphere reminiscent of Zhang Yimou’s earlier works and Kurosawa’s style, enriching the story’s depth. ## Cons - The beginning is slow and a bit confusing, requiring patience and attention to the character development and plot. - The UHD disc does not include a digital copy, which is unusual compared to most UHD releases and may frustrate those wanting flexible viewing options. - Not as action-packed as some other films by the director, which might disappoint viewers looking for nonstop thrills. - Some violence is present but not excessively graphic; this may not fully satisfy fans looking for more intense fight scenes. - To stream the film and own a digital version, you either need to purchase twice or subscribe to a streaming service advertised on the packaging, adding complexity to ownership. - The DVD resolution is poor, so for quality viewing, the UHD version is strongly recommended. ## Specifications | Attribute | Value | |-----------|-------| | product_name | Shadow 4K UHD [Blu-ray] | ## Last Seen Prices | Retailer | Price | Availability | Last seen | Store's standard terms | |----------|-------|-------------|-----------|------------------------| | [Amazon](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/LvN5gVNYRsg1eXVUaAwC/offers/tEzxeUXElgC91x0AZvw6?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $12.41 | In Stock | 2026-10-04 | 30-day returns (in store too) | | [Walmart](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/LvN5gVNYRsg1eXVUaAwC/offers/xLfsNlfYWKD0LNoybgcU?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $13.50 | In Stock | 2023-04-25 (may have changed) | | | [Gruv Entertainment](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/LvN5gVNYRsg1eXVUaAwC/offers/Ka8Tu91nlQ5NMvuIAdV9?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $15.99 | In Stock | 2022-08-16 (may have changed) | | | [Deep Discount](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/LvN5gVNYRsg1eXVUaAwC/offers/f07P73mDw7JQIqhUtECC?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $18.49 | In Stock | 2023-08-01 (may have changed) | | | [retailers/bestbuy](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/LvN5gVNYRsg1eXVUaAwC/offers/3mEAKxynd5pZgb3vW2uq?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $19.99 | In Stock | 2026-02-10 (may have changed) | 15-day returns (in store too) · free return shipping · free shipping on $35+ | | [Gruv Entertainment](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/LvN5gVNYRsg1eXVUaAwC/offers/Gs2yTAdyajNV4OmvPbX8?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $19.99 | In Stock | 2023-08-01 (may have changed) | | | [ImportCDs](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/LvN5gVNYRsg1eXVUaAwC/offers/2VuoSkzDWZBdCEhfCFEw?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $20.28 | In Stock | 2023-08-01 (may have changed) | | | [imusic.co](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/LvN5gVNYRsg1eXVUaAwC/offers/71xXh6RCFFtdXd1mTplM?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $21.49 | In Stock | 2023-07-18 (may have changed) | | | [Target](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/LvN5gVNYRsg1eXVUaAwC/offers/tI2zkvXRSlkDV00WvxQe?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $21.49 | In Stock | 2023-06-08 (may have changed) | 90-day returns (in store too) · free return shipping · free shipping on $35+ | | [movies unlimited](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/LvN5gVNYRsg1eXVUaAwC/offers/JxYzp9OGW8h9k1NMN46q?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $22.99 | In Stock | 2023-08-01 (may have changed) | | | [Right Stuf Anime](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/LvN5gVNYRsg1eXVUaAwC/offers/LK8oZx5PVbnFEK4FQzbE?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $26.24 | In Stock | 2023-05-13 (may have changed) | | | [Beach Audio](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/LvN5gVNYRsg1eXVUaAwC/offers/NjaT7ZJDxFKTHV77xZ8L?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $26.30 | In Stock | 2023-05-11 (may have changed) | | | [Market America Brands / Shop.com](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/LvN5gVNYRsg1eXVUaAwC/offers/yyatpZEomFQS4Qszlvot?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $28.66 | In Stock | 2022-07-13 (may have changed) | | | [Market America Brands / Shop.com](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/LvN5gVNYRsg1eXVUaAwC/offers/86LUwus1zftNAry7ySZ7?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $28.66 | In Stock | 2022-08-04 (may have changed) | | | [Oldies.com](https://shopsavvy.com/api/redirect/products/LvN5gVNYRsg1eXVUaAwC/offers/I45gQCQjZRhPdhzuJ2Xg?source=shopsavvy&medium=product-page) | $32.50 | In Stock | 2023-08-01 (may have changed) | | | [fye -
