# SentrySafe Fireproof Waterproof Floor Safe *Published: 2026-02-16 | Updated: 2026-02-16 | Source: https://shopsavvy.com/products/sentrysafe-fireproof-waterproof-floor-safe* --- **Brand:** SentrySafe **Price Range:** $54.89 - $1328.61 across 91 retailers ## Pros - Strong, solid steel construction with a stout and heavy design that screams durability and security - Reliable manual dial combination lock that requires no batteries or electronics, minimizing failure points - Spacious interior with an adjustable tray and bin to help organize documents and valuables neatly - Door closes tightly and securely, offering excellent protection against fire and water damage - Can be bolted down or drilled for extra theft deterrence, though it’s heavy enough to discourage casual theft even unbolted - Comes with a moisture-absorbing pouch and is both fireproof and waterproof for comprehensive protection - User-friendly manual with a clear preset combination and easy-to-follow opening instructions - Trusted brand with a solid reputation for durability and home security solutions - Includes handy interior keyring hangers for organizing small items - Smooth bottom design makes sliding it into place easier despite its weight ## Cons - Very heavy, requiring assistance for installation or moving - Combination code cannot be changed by the user; retrieval requires contacting the company and verifying ownership - Initial handle or dial operation can be tricky until you get the hang of it - Interior shelf is adjustable but not sturdy enough for heavier items over 15-20 pounds - Hinges are external, though reinforced; some users may find this concerning despite design to prevent door removal without unlocking - May sit unevenly on certain floors, needing minor surface adjustments - Drilling holes to bolt it down can potentially compromise waterproof integrity - Thieves could steal the entire safe for later break-in if not firmly anchored ##
